Karbhari, a village farmer was all geared up to harvest his potatoes and from the yield pay back the money he owed to the local money lender Sahukar Tatya. But his bull Chitangya, fell into a leopard trap and broke his hindi leg thus being unable to plugh the fields. Persistent efforts by Karbhari and his wife Anjana could not resurrect Chitangya. Karbhari decides to sell the bull to the local butcher. But he is topped by his 7 year old younger son Tingya who does not think of Chitangya as an animal. For him the bull was like his elder brother, as they were born almost at the same time and had shared many moments together. 'Tingya' is an emotional love story between a bull and a boy. It talks about the most dark and turbulent times in the lives of the farmers in India.
