Though the film basically introduces itself as a love story, it is the friendship between Abhiram and Gaali Seenu that dominates most of the time.

Naresh steals the show with his near perfect comic timing and natural expressions and all characters pale in comparison.

All the characters are beautifully etched, they have shades of grey and they all move towards the positive as the journey progresses, for example..Kamalini is stubborn, has her priorities right but at the end of the film she believes in him

The director has done commendable work for his first film but he has a long way to go.

He has however able to deliver a pleasant story despite some out of place semi-plot stuff like the forest scenes and scribe and naxalist episodes.
