Appa Rao (Krishna Bhagavan) is a career-oriented fashion designer who is in his 40’s. He is still a bachelor due to lack of opportunities and career orientation. That is when a posh lady Pravallika (Simran) approaches him and makes him fall in love with her. She offers him a new career and great business in UK. Meantime, it is revealed that there is a dreaded ISI agent called John Alias Mastan (Krishna Bhagavan) who looks just like Appa Rao. The rest of the story is all about what happens to Appa Rao when his look-alike John spots him.

The audio of John Appa Rao 40 Plus was released at Annapoorna Studios, in Hyderabad.

Noted producer D. Suresh Babu released the audio. Simran was the centre of attraction at the function.

Simran said that she liked the subject very much.

Ali spoke at length and predicted that John Appa Rao 40 Plus would become a blockbuster and herald a new wave of sensation in the film industry, particularly for those who love the comedy genre.

The film will release on 14th Feb.
