Interesting aspect in Gandhi's life. But the movie gets boring after a while. There isn't much action going on the screen after some time.

If you dont draw parralels with the other celebrated movies on gandhi, this one has been able to do justice with the theme it has dealt. Shefali Shah is once again birilliant in her portrayal of Kasturba (I found her expressions more subtle but profound than those by Rohini Hattangari). Akshay Khanna can act but has carried his 21st century mannerisms to a periodical. Darshan Jariwala has done what he could to carry the weight of manumental figure of gandhi as well as that of an ordinary father.
The movie deserved a better editor.

Solid work, a tad too slow on the upkeep but if you want to see the serious side of the otherwise rowdy comic hero, this is Akshaye Khanna at his most "humiliating" performance---and I mean that in a good way, his humiliation in the film is almost humbling in one's own faith.
